We are increasing the pace of the clean energy transition with a focus on road transport - one of the largest sources of greenhouse gases and air pollution. We use data to tell persuasive stories, informing the public and influencing policy development. We help people understand the biggest revolution in personal transport since the time of Henry Ford and how it can benefit them.
OUR WORK TO DATE
Helping win the most ambitious clean transport policy in the West
Our data informed advocacy, information sharing and convening of stakeholders, helped people to understand the huge potential of the UK Government's proposed ZEV mandate regulations. We helped increase the ambition during the consultation phase, defended it against attacks and helped get it on the statute books. This policy is estimated to save 517 MtCO2e between 2024 and 2050.
Changing the narrative & challenging misinformation
We have gained a huge amount of earned media thanks to our data tools, for example, tracking the sale of EVs, and by offering informed commentary and challenging common myths and misconceptions.
Building public support for EVs
Our Electric Car Guide provides accessible information about the realities of driving an EV and allows people to calculate how they would save money from making the switch. We have given a profile to real people who are already benefiting from having made the
switch.
Tracking the transition globally
Looking beyond the UK, our data tools tracking sales of EVs are now
international with our global EV count covering 80% of major car
markets and we have forged international partnerships in Europe and the USA.
